Champion Asheville Aces First Weekend

The Champion Asheville Aces, Asheville Hockey Leagues travel adult team, that is a part of Professional Inline Hockey Association has a solid first weekend in their debut in the league. 

The SGAA Dual Deck Hockey Arena hosted an exciting series of matchups in the Southeast Division, featuring teams such as the Champion Asheville AcesHendersonville Broadway BladesJacksonville Citrus KingsAtlanta Phantoms, and the Apex Title Wave Mops. The event saw intense games, including an overtime thriller, with standout performances from the Apex Title Wave Mops and Asheville Aces.

The Champion Asheville Aces secured a close 3-2 victory over the Hendersonville Broadway Blades in a tight battle on the White Rink. Asheville’s disciplined play allowed them to hold off Hendersonville, earning an early win.  

The Champion Asheville Aces faced off against the Apex Title Wave Mops in a thrilling game that went into overtime. Apex managed to secure a 5-4 victory, showcasing their resilience and clutch play in critical moments. 

In another close contest, the Champion Asheville edged out the  Aces Atlanta Phantoms 3-2. Asheville’s quick, aggressive play allowed them to maintain a lead despite Asheville’s efforts to tie the game in the final minutes.

The Champion Asheville Aces managed a 5-2 victory over the Apex Title Wave Mops, showcasing their offensive depth and ability to control the game’s pace. 

In the final game, Hendersonville Broadway Blades defeated the Champion Asheville Aces 5-3, rounding out an exciting day of hockey at the SGAA Dual Deck Hockey Arena.
